Workplace App
The Workplace App is used by Facilities, Front of House, and Administrative staff to access the Kahu system. It provides insights and reporting into how your bookable resources are being used.
The solution is designed to fit with how your organisation works. Our cloud-hosted platform integrates seamlessly with software packages such as Microsoft 365. When booking rooms, users don’t have to learn new software, they can continue to use Outlook with no need for plugins. Admins can then administer all bookings via the Workplace app.
The administrator can assign and control users permissions across the various modules, such as building access control, desk and locker booking, all via a single user-friendly interface.

The Kahu Booking Kiosk allows users to easily book desks anywhere in the building (or across a multi-building campus), as well as see available meeting rooms, or informal breakout spaces.
Users can tap their existing access card on the reader to identify themselves, check-in, search for colleagues, and view resources.

Booking Panel
Our platform is displayed on interactive panels located outside of meeting rooms. These panels quickly show the availability of a room as part of a visually appealing interface that can also be on-brand to match your organisation. Users can see whether the room is currently in-use and when it’s next booked. From these panels, users can check-in to meetings, extend bookings, check-out, and ad-hoc book the room.
This will seamlessly update Outlook without requiring any extra effort.

Desk Controller
The Desk Controller is a modular device that makes any desk smart. This includes a sensor unit that sits under the desk detecting when someone is using it, and a power control module that can turn the power on and off to the desk.
Once checked-in, the desk powers up, becoming usable. Unreserved and non-checked-in desks stay powered off, reducing energy consumption. Controlling the power ensures accurate occupancy data.
Able to sense when a person sits at a desk, the sensor will not get fooled by chairs being pushed in, or bags left on the floor.
Together these features provide rich and accurate data for powerful and actionable office insights.

User App
The User App allows users to pre-book resources ahead of time using their device (laptop, tablet, or mobile), and then simply check-in at a kiosk using their access card when they arrive. This ensures everyone can efficiently plan their days, safe in the knowledge that there is space for them reserved at the office.
The User App interface has been designed with simplicity at its core. It is a smooth and seamless experience that supports fast deployment and user adoption.
